Lee is very proud to announce that he’s agreed to become the Patron of a charity called Community Furniture Aid.
This award-winning Bridgend County Borough based charity is dedicated to furnishing homes for people moving on from homelessness or living in poverty. The team of volunteers works with people from across Bridgend County and surrounding areas. They rely solely on donations of clean household items from the public to make up packs that contain everything that’s needed to start again in a new home.
Lee said “I’ve come across the work that Community Furniture Aid do on a number of occasions. We live in a world where sometimes it can be very difficult to make ends meet and to afford the basics. Sometimes we all need a helping hand. This is where CFA step in with an invaluable service that helps people to start with the basics they need. I urge anyone who can help the team, to get in touch. I’m looking forward to finding out more about the work that they do and promoting the charity in any way that I can”.
The team is based in Pontycymer and available to help every Tuesday to Thursday between 10am and 3pm. If you could benefit from their help or may have a donation, call 0759 731 7338. You can also follow Community Furniture Aid on Facebook by clicking here.
