Lee proud to help award Pembrokeshire Youngsters!

Lee’s Drivetime show is broadcast across Pembrokeshire weekdays between 3pm and 7pm. On Friday 17th November, he helped host the Radio Pembrokeshire Young Achiever Awards at Folly Farm. It was an evening to award and highlight some amazing young people from Pembrokeshire. Radio Pembrokeshire was inundated with hundreds and hundreds of nominations and the judges had a very difficult job to choose 11 young winners.

One of the young winners was Lily Rice from Manorbier. Despite her health issues, Lily hit record books recently when a video of her landing a back-flip in her wheelchair. Lily is just 13 years old and a true inspiration.

Lee said “There are so many truly inspirational young people who do great things. More often than not, these youngsters don’t get the recognition that they deserve. I was honoured to host the Radio Pembrokeshire Young Achiever Awards. We should be proud of the young people who do amazing things across Pembrokeshire. Holding an awards ceremony like this gives an outlet to recognise these amazing young people. Long may they continue!”
